Christopher Ainsworth BDS
Principal Dentist, Practice Owner & Partner

Chris has been the principal dentist at Heaton Mersey Dental since 2019. He has been running successful practices since 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in dentistry having previously worked as an associate dentist in Stockport, and as a principal dentist at practices in Wigan, Bolton and Cheadle Hulme.
Hunain Sattar BDS

Dr Hunain Sattar graduated from Plymouth University in 2018 and completed his foundation training in Macclesfield before joining the Heaton Mersey team in 2019. Hunain practices general dentistry ranging from restorative work such as filling and root canals to prosthetic work such as crowns and dentures. Hunain’s interests lie in cosmetic dentistry which include whitening and composite bonding. Outside of dentistry his hobbies include playing football and going to the gym to stay active and keep fit.
Farrah Yassir BDS

Farah graduated from Leeds Dental School in 2009. In 2011 she completed a postgraduate diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh making her a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.
She joined Heaton Mersey Dental in October 2019. Farah carries out all aspects of general dentistry & has recently completed the SmileFast course to be able to provide affordable composite veneers for her patients. She has a calm & gentle approach when treating her patients, especially the ones who are nervous.

During 2010-2013 Farah was an Honorary Clinical Supervisor for Undergraduate Hygiene and Therapy students from the University of Liverpool. This year Farah was on the interview panel for A-Level students applying for Leeds Dental School. Both of these roles brought her great joy to as act as a mentor and guide to the next generation of dentists/ therapists.
Farah also likes to give back & she has previously travelled to Vietnam to volunteer at orphanages to provide children with extractions and emergency dental treatment they would not otherwise be able to afford.
In her spare time Farah likes to spend time with her family. Her two little girls keep her busy when she’s not at work. She also has a passion for travelling.
Ross Whyld BDS
Associate Dentist

Ross gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester; graduating with two academic prizes. Since graduating, he has worked in Stretford and Macclesfield, before starting at Heaton Mersey Dental in 2019. In 2016 he was shortlisted for the British Society of Advanced Dentistry Poster Prize.
He is interested in all aspects of dentistry and advocates minimally invasive procedures and enjoys helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment. He has undertaken post-graduate courses so that he is able to provide short term orthodontics (C-Fast braces), facial aesthetics and anti-wrinkle injections and enjoys aesthetic treatment such as composite bonding and veneers.
Aside from dentistry, he also has a first-class degree in politics and had a career as an accountant before undertaking his dental training.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Hi I’m Claire. I qualified at Manchester Dental Hospital in 1997 as a Dental Nurse. I am very passionate about dentistry and giving our patients here at Heaton Mersey Dental the best dental experience. Before working here, I have worked at several practices across Manchester assisting dentists and consultants with a wide range of treatments including implants, sinus lifts, bone grafting, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Away from work I like to spend time at the gym and walking our family dog. I also enjoy family time where a great deal of time is either spent watching my son play football or going to watch Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Hend Khalil

Hend is a Qualified Dental Nurse and has been in dentistry since 2018 . She has joined our team recently and is a great addition to our team. In her free time Hend enjoys spending time with her kids, walking and socialising with friends.
Sara Sadeghiani
Practice Manager
Sara is originally from a retail background with 13 years’ experience in management and joined Dentistry in 2019. Sara ensures the smooth running of the practice and loves to spend time on reception getting to know our patients and is always at hand to discuss any enquiries. Away from work Sara spends her spare time with her family and enjoys practicing yoga.
Donna Yates
Receptionist
Donna has worked as at Heaton Mersey Dental as a Dental Receptionist since 2020. She really enjoys working with a great team and getting to know the patients. When Donna is not working she spends time with loved ones, her pet dog and cats. Donna also enjoys keeping active, planning excursions, musical theatre and live music
Julie Eagleton

Hi I’m Julie, I started dental nursing in 1974. Having worked at a few practices in Manchester I settled at Heaton Mersey dental in 2000 where I am currently a dental receptionist. My hobbies include cooking, entertaining family and friends. I also enjoy trips to the theatre. At weekends I like to walk our dog and watch football (especially Reds)
